I'm an aspiring illustrator that loves to create scenes with characters in action. Character designing seems like the go-to thing for most creators whom would love to design  a character and streamline the character's existence, but my I perspective elsewhere: I want to place these individuals in scenes and make the possible in images. I want the character to look like anything a viewer would hope to see them as they should be on screen and on paper. Plot them into some kind of terrain and make them as awesome or terrible as I can because that's where the money shot is; the character in action.

I grew up in California where entertainment reigns dominate and it's where that world influenced me to help lend it some new additions. Fresh work, yet with an emphasis of the old. It's not about remaking the art or a major adaption to the work, it's all about giving the work more contrast and generate that creation meaning again. Old is still the trend and what is new should be an upgrade to the old.
